Refurbishment

The Berkeley Way is to make sure that properties look as good as they possibly can so that they attract the best possible tenants. We keep all our properties in tip top condition throughout the tenancy.

Agreeing a plan
At the outset it’s vital to establish what rental value a property is currently achieving and what it could attract if work is done to improve its appearance. This could be anything from simple redecoration, to replacement of furniture or a complete restyle of the layout.

Before any work is carried out, we’ll draw up a project plan, gather competitive quotes and talk to the tenants about how we can best avoid disruption. Where possible, we arrange to have the work done during periods between tenancies, or while the tenants are away.

Managing the work
As you’d expect, Berkeley Way have built long term relationships with quality tradespeople across all the disciplines - building, decorating, furnishing and of course plumbing and electrics.

We manage the refurbishment work from start to finish, and as with all our other services, we’re fully accountable for delivering a successful refurbishment to the agreed budget and timescale.
